As far as we know, this will be the West Coast of Scotland’s first ever 2-day Metalcore Metal Festival.
You will be in the most awesome intimate setting, directly under the famous Skye Bridge, surrounded by the glorious sea and mountains, on a truly incredible island like no other.
We advise you to make a holiday of this and at least take a day either side to soak up the infamous sites.
You won’t regret it.

Forewarning that parking is extremely limited at the venue and campground. There are no bookable parking spaces currently available.
Where possible we advise travelling by public transport.
TRAIN or BUS
Central Scotland → Kyle of Localsh
Scotrail trains leave regularly from Edinburgh, or Glasgow, to Kyle of Lochalsh. It’s then a walk over the bridge and you will arrive at the Festival Area in Kyleakin.
Scotrail: www.scotrail.co.uk
Bus is the most expensive, but most convenient, option. Citylink services leave Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness and take you directly to Kyleakin - and drop you off almost right oustide the venue (handy that!)

DRIVING
Glasgow → Armdadale Ferry → Skye
Driving from Glasgow to Mallaig takes 5 hours. From here you must take a ferry from Mallaig to Armadale. These ferries only run a small number of times each day throughout the summer. You must book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Calmac Ferries: www.calmac.co.uk
Glasgow/Edinburgh → Inverness → Kyle of Lochalsh
Driving from Glasgow or Edinburgh, via Inverness, takes 5 hours and includes a bridge to Skye (no need to take the ferry). All Google maps/sat-navs will try to send you on the route via the Armadale Ferry, because this is the quickest route, but if you want to drive all the way; search from Glasgow, or Edinburgh, to Skye via Inverness.
FLIGHTS (Boo!)
London/Glasgow/Multiple Locations → Inverness
Sadly, as things are so far away from anywhere here (but so worth the trek) we sometimes have to take flights. Flights run from London/Manchester/Glasgow to Inverness a few times a day.
From Inverness you can take a train to Kyle of Localsh or a bus to Kyleakin.

CAMPING
When you book your ticket you will receive information regarding camping. If you do not wish to camp there are accommodation options available within the area.
KYLE + KYELAKIN
Both Kyleakin (where the festival is situated) and Kyle (across the bridge) are within walking distance.
PORTREE + BROADFORD AREAS
There are very little taxis available, if any at all, and the buses do not run late at night to for anyone hoping to stay in Portree or Broadford. You would ideally require a car to access these towns further north if you do choose to book your accommodation here.
BOOK NOW
As Skye is the most popular place in Scotland to visit we would advise you book any accommodation now to avoid disappointment. We sadly do not offer a refund service for anyone who can’t make it.

If you want to camp in the free quiet camping area then yes.
There are no large supermarkets or shops that sell tents, sleeping bags or camping gear on the island - we think the nearest place to purchase these may even be Inverness (3 hours away - welcome to island life!)
Please purchase all of your camping gear before coming to the island as you’ll be mightily stuck without it!
-
We have no campervan parking outside the venue and we have no space for campervans on our small quiet camping area.
If you decide to take a campervan you will need to use one of the public parking areas in Kyleakin or Kyle of Lochalsh.
-
Food will be available at the venue but we understand people may want to take their own.
Disposable BBQ’s are allowed but please don’t use these near tents or put these directly on the grass. Find some stones to put the BBQ on to ensure we don’t burn the grass underneath (leave no trace!)

There is a reasonable sized Co-op, a mini market, a few eateries and a Post Office in Kyle of Lochalsh (20 minute walk across the Skye Bridge).
In Kyleakin itself there is a couple of bars and a few cafes (oh and an Indian up the road!)
